Sentosa Island

Sentosa Island is a 500-hectare resort island located off Singapore’s southern coast, connected to the mainland by road, monorail, and cable car. Once a British military base known as Pulau Blakang Mati, it was redeveloped into a leisure and tourism destination in the 1970s.

Today, Sentosa is home to some of Singapore’s most popular attractions, including Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark, and Fort Siloso. The island also features luxury resorts, golf courses, and three main beaches — Siloso, Palawan, and Tanjong — each offering unique experiences for visitors.

Drawing over 20 million visitors annually, Sentosa is a centerpiece of Singapore’s tourism industry and a leading hub for entertainment, relaxation, and adventure in Southeast Asia.
